The week began with yet another 7.1-magnitude tremor in one of Japan's Fukushima towns, prompting authorities to broaden the 20km radius evacuation zone. Severity of the Fukushima-Daiichi nuclear facility was raised from level 5 to 7, the highest and equivalent to Chernobyl's disaster.
